Under 12 Outreach Program

Banyan's crime prevention/early intervention programs provide gender specific services for boys and girls under the age of 12 who have either come into contact with the police or who are engaging in anti-social behaviour that would involve the criminal justice system if they were 12 years of age.

The Under 12 Outreach Program helps boys under the age of 12 who have either come into contact with the police or who are engaging in behaviour that would involve the criminal justice system if they were 12. The Girls Connection Program is for girls between the ages of six to twelve years who are experiencing behavioural problems at home, school, or in the community.Through both individual and group work, the girls learn and practice self-control and problem solving skills.
